At E Care Community, we understand that choosing to start care at home is a big decision. That’s why we’ve made the process simple, supportive, and entirely focused on your needs and preferences.

Before care begins, we’ll arrange a free, no-obligation visit to your home to carry out a thorough care assessment.

This visit allows us to:

• Understand your daily routine, health needs, and personal preferences
• Identify the type and level of support that will best suit you
• Discuss any questions or concerns you or your family may have
• Conduct a risk assessment of your home to ensure safety for both you and our carers

We encourage a relative or close friend to be present during the visit, if possible, as they can often provide helpful input and support.

All information you provide is treated with strict confidentiality and in accordance with UK data protection laws. We only share your details with others with your permission.

📝 Step 2: Creating Your Personalised Care Plan

Using the information from your assessment, we’ll create a bespoke care plan tailored specifically to your needs, preferences, and lifestyle. This plan will:

• Detail the care tasks to be completed

• Include specific routines or instructions for how you like things done

• Set visit times and carer preferences where possible

You’ll have a chance to review and approve the care plan before we begin. Need changes? No problem—just call our office and we’ll update it immediately.

Once your plan is in place, we’ll schedule your visits and send you a rota each week, showing:

• The times of your care visits

• The name of your allocated carer(s)

We aim to offer continuity of care as much as possible, so you’ll see familiar faces you can build trust with.
